Series: The Club Girl Diaries #8

Genre: MC/Romantic Suspense
Release Date: March 26, 2018
Ham lost his family in one swoop of the devil’s hand.
His parents were killed, and his brother and sister were torn away from him by a broken system. As the eldest sibling, he was meant to protect them and keep what was left of their family together.
But he failed.
When he found the Brothers by Blood MC, he was given a second chance at a family. He was given time to redeem himself and be the brother he couldn’t be before.
It was there he found Meyah—everything he wanted but didn’t deserve.
Meyah was off limits, but the fire between them only grew more intense as he watched her grow and fight to find her voice. She wasn’t the young and innocent girl he’d felt he had to protect, she was stronger than ever.
Tired of denying the pull between them, he was determined to fix the mistakes he’d made in the past so he could finally feel like a man worthy of someone so damn beautiful, smart and real.
First, he had to go back to where it all began.
And what he finds there may not give him peace.
Instead, it’s about to create a whole new storm.

Shake is the eighth title in The Club Girl Diaries. I've read every title in this series, and to get the most from this book, I would recommend reading the previous titles as you will understand slight nuances and mentions of events in the story line.
Shake is part one of Meyah and Hamlet's story. The chemistry and connection between this pair has been in the background for several titles and I've been eagerly awaiting their story. Both characters are strong, endearing and complex.
Ham aka Shake hasn't had an easy life, he's a survivor, and an alpha to the core. Protective, caring and loving, he's loyal and will do anything for his family whether it be The Brothers by Blood MC, or his siblings Romeo and Ophelia.
Despite being raised around the MC Meyah has lived a sheltered life, with an overprotective and controlling mother. Whilst spending time with Ham, and the other Brothers by Blood, she blossoms and grows into a strong and confident young woman.
The chemistry between Meyah and Ham is undeniable, their banter is fun and flirtatious and the love scenes hot and steamy.
I wouldn't recommend reading this title if you have somewhere to be, as once I picked it up I couldn't put it down. It's a story full of twists and turns with intrigue, mystery, suspense and emotion throughout.
This title does end on a cliffhanger, so if you are quite impatient like me, you may prefer to wait til the second part of Shake and Meyah's story is released to read this title. In saying that I will be eagerly awaiting the release of the second title, as I thoroughly enjoyed this engaging and entertaining story.
Addison Jane is a born and bred kiwi girl with a passion for romance and writing.
When she gets the chance she enjoys the little things in life such as reading, dancing, music, and Facebook, but her world really revolves around the little girl who calls her Mum. It's an awkward balance between alpha males and Disney princesses but it works.
Growing up on a small farm next to the beach will always make her a country girl at heart. But since moving away to a small town close to the city she's discovered a dangerous love for shopping.
Writing stories has been something that’s come naturally since she was young, and with the massive support of her friends and family, she finally decided to step out of her comfort zone and share them with the world.
She enjoys bringing her books to life with strong female leads, sexy passionate men and a rollercoaster of twists and turns that lead to the happily ever after that her readers desire.
