I adore RC Boldt's books, and The Good Samaritan is no exception, it's a unique story with endearing, captivating and dynamic characters. Whilst both heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time this story is also incredibly inspirational.
The Good Samaritan is a story of love and redemption. The hero is tormented by and attempting to atone for events in his past. He's kind, caring, compassionate and has a huge giving heart. He lives a very isolated life, living on the streets, and although he hides in plain sight, he's very aware of what's going on around him and does his best to help those who are most vulnerable and in need.
The heroine is intelligent, kind and compassionate and sees deeper than what's on the surface. She's independent, strong and resilient, and has her own demons she needs to face.
I adored the secondary characters in this title, and there was one particular character that I was very surprised to see. I'm hoping by the epilogue of this title that we may possibly see more of this pair in future titles.
RC Boldt currently lives on the southeastern coast of the U.S., enjoys long walks on the beach, running, reading, people watching, and singing karaoke. If you're in the mood for some killer homemade mojitos, can't recall the lyrics to a particular 80's song, or just need to hang around a nonconformist who will do almost anything for a laugh, she's your girl.
