Stevie
Foster thought her happy ever after would come easily after saying “I do” to
her high school sweetheart at nineteen.
But twelve years later, she finds herself

On top of struggling to cope with the future she
always wanted versus the one she’s been dealt, she soon realizes that her new
neighbor is a strict, stone-faced man she’s all too familiar with.
Lieutenant Colonel Fletcher Miller.
The man once in charge of her ex-husband’s unit.
And as if the reminder across the street of what
she lost wasn’t painful enough, she also becomes his young son’s teacher.

Make You Miss Me is an emotional slow
burn romance featuring Stevie and Fletcher.
Stevie married her childhood sweetheart,
only to find herself divorced and starting over at 32, after spending nearly
half her life with the same man. This is
a story of strength, resilience, and self-discovery as Steve navigates her new
normal o find happiness and hope.
Fletcher is not only Stevie’s neighbor,
but the former commanding officer of her ex-husband and a father of one of the
students in her class. This single
father is a kind, caring, compassionate, and empathetic alpha with a big heart.
Whilst this was my first-time reading B.
Celeste’s work, it won’t be my last, I found this title to not only be well
written, but engaging and the characters realistic, and relatable.
