I was excited to be back in the BTU Alumni world with Ryan and Amara’s book and it didn’t disappoint.  If you love a single parent, sports romance with plenty of heat, heart and humor this title is for you. 

Ryan aka Cap or Captain America is a professional hockey player, who is loyal, loving, confident and charming yet also unpretentious.  He’s desperate to find the happiness and love his siblings and several close friends have found. 

Amara is a single mother to the precocious and endearing nine-year-old Maverick, and the chemistry between this pair is instantaneous.  She’s strong, sassy, independent, successful, and loyal, and hasn’t had an easy life finding herself pregnant and alone at the age of fifteen.

The banter throughout this title is witty, fun, flirtatious, and full of sarcasm and humor and is sure to leave you with a smile upon your face.

I loved the cameos from the previous couples in the series, and the interactions between Carlee, Sean and Maverick were adorable and fun.

I can’t wait for the next addition to this series, and I don’t hesitate to recommend this thoroughly enjoyable read that is Scoring Beauty!
