My life was perfect - until a shocking tragedy pulled the rug out from underneath me.
My children were left without a father. I was without a husband and a provider. Instead of wallowing in my grief, I buried myself in my work at Dovetail Enterprises. Landing the promotion as the CEO’s right hand was exactly what I needed.

Getting saddled with Milo Huxley as an assistant is exactly the opposite.

I can’t stand him.

He’s arrogant, irresponsible, and out for my job. As if that’s not bad enough, he has to be devastatingly sexy, and have a posh English accent that makes me squirm on top of it all. I’ve had enough unpredictability for one lifetime, thank you.

But soon enough, we’re fighting less and laughing more. He’s there for me when no one else is. And those good looks aren’t the only panty-dropping thing about him.

If I only knew what to do about it . . .

I adored every minute of this surprising story of a complex and endearing pair of characters.  Danielle and Milo's story is a sweet, fun and emotional story with a touch of humor.

As soon as I learned that Milo was to be the hero in Danielle's story I was incredibly eager to read their story.  Anyone familiar with Not Until You will recognised Milo as Callum's arrogant, yet charming younger brother.  Milo might be wealth and privileged and at times comes off as entitled and spoiled but he's so much more.  This cocky, sexy hero is also supportive, loving, kind and has a heart of gold.

Danielle is a widowed single mother with two children who are five and sixteen years of age.  She does her best to provide for her children as works incredibly hard despite dealing with her grief and the drama of a sixteen year old. She's strong, resilient, smart, and fun.

One of the things I loved about this title was the accurate and realistic portrayal of both parenthood and marriage.

The chemistry between this pair is palpable, and the sexual tension is apparent right from their very first meeting, despite both their stubborn and competitive natures.  They complement each other perfectly not only in the work place, but emotionally, mentally and sexually.

The banter Danielle and Milo share is fun, flirtatious, witty, and often argumentative and sarcastic.

I loved revisiting the characters who have appeared in the previous three interconnected standalones We Own Tonight, One Last Time and Not Until You.

I will be eagerly awaiting Corinne's next release.
