Vets on the Go!
They didn’t plan to become heroes…
When former Marine Reid Griffith started his moving company, hiring only veterans, he just wanted to help his brother Cash adjust to civilian life. But when Cash is caught taking down a thief mid-robbery, the video goes viral. Suddenly Vets on the Go! are local heroes…and Reid’s phone explodes. He needs help handling the deluge of interest—fast.

When PR expert Naomi Starr sees the news spot of a muscular vet expertly apprehending a bad guy with duct tape, she knows Vets on the Go! is just the thing to revive her career. There’s just one problem. Naomi has vowed to never mix business with pleasure. Ever. Again. And tall, dark and brawny Reid Griffith is a whole package of temptation

3.5 Stars

Overall The Whole Package is a slow burn romance that has the signature heat, heart and humor I've come to expect from Marie Harte's writing.

Being the first title in the series, there were quite a few characters that were introduced within this title.  The multiple points of view left me feeling a tad lost at times, and felt we knew just as much about Cash possibly even more so than we did Reid.

Reid is the hero of this title, a former marine who owns a moving company with his brother and cousin, aptly named Vets On The Go.  The company only employs former service men and women.  Reid is a likeable blue collar hero, who stands by his integrity and honor and although he's an alpha he's not over the top.

Naomi is a PR expert, who blows into Reid's life just when he needs help the most.  She's hardworking and strong, yet a tad neurotic.  Having been burned in the past, she's determined to not mix business with pleasure, despite the attraction that is evident between herself and Reid.

I quite enjoyed the interactions between this pair, and seeing some of Marie's previous characters make a cameo appearance was unexpected.

Although I didn't love this book, I do want to see more of these characters and will be looking forward to the next addition to the series.
