So many mafia romances don’t live up to my expectations, but Condemned to Love is not only an epic love story, but completely captivating and incredibly well written.  It’s dark and gritty, it’s also sexy and sweet, and packed full of action, intrigue, suspense, and betrayal.

Bennett and Sierra are an incredibly complex hero and heroine.  Bennett Mazzone is a dark, dominant and possessive hero, but he’s also protective, charming and sexy.  Sierra is an intriguing character and the perfect blend of sassy, strong, and resilient yet vulnerable. 

Their chemistry and connection between this pair is undeniable and incredibly sexy.  Its filled with twists and turns and surprises that kept me completely enthralled and I can’t wait for future additions to Siobhan Davis’ mafia world.

Lethal Protector is the third title in the Rifle Creek series, featuring Tala and Braxton.  Both characters have appeared as cameos in the previous books, and I’ve been particularly eager for Tala’s story since she first appeared in Lethal Edge.

Tala is Tate’s sister and former veteran and amputee survivor.  She’s a strong, resilient, and inspiring single mother who has a positive outlook on life and is training to be a biathlete.

Braxton is a partner in Rifle Creek Tactical, but its from a distance as he is still an active military sniper.  Still waters run deep with this stoic, yet thoughtful hero.

Whilst helping Tala train they encounter not only a blizzard but a killer on the run and must work together to remain alive, ensues is a tale packed full of action, intrigue, suspense, and danger.

I recommend this title to anyone who enjoys a slow burn, friends to lovers romantic suspense.

King of Denial is the third title in the Boys of Almadale and features Bohdi and Trixie. 

In the previous books Bodhi was portrayed as the irreverent player, always ready with a joke and the life of the party, but it’s a veneer to hide his deep vulnerabilities and abandonment issues.   Trixie is not the jezebel she’s been portrayed in the previous books, and there’s definitely more to her story than meets the eye.

Both Trixie and Brodie are strong characters with a love story that is both raw and vulnerable.  They are both willing to do anything to keep the other safe, even if it means sacrificing their own happiness.

I loved reading the history of their relationship that has been alluded to in the previous titles. 

I highly recommend the Boys of Almadale series to anyone who enjoys a title packed full of suspense, drama, intrigue and humor with undeniable chemistry.

Riggs is the first book in The Kings of Retribution MC, Louisiana Chapter and a spinoff from The Kings of Retribution MC: Montana Chapter featuring Abel and Luna.

Luna found herself in trouble and was aided by the Kings of Retribution MC.  When trouble follows her she is provided protection by Riggs the president of the Louisiana chapter and begins a story of love at first sight.  Luna is strong and resilient, but also quite anxious about the trouble that follows her. 

Abel “Riggs” is a protective former Green Beret who owns his own mercenary company, and has all the skills to keep Luna safe from harm.

Their connection is instantaneous, and their romance is quite steamy, my only issue was that I hadn’t read the previous series and found this title a tad slow to start.

I recommend this title if you enjoy an MC romance with drama, intrigue, suspense and heat.

I love a hockey romance and was intrigued when I read the synopsis for The Sweet Talker.  I haven’t previously read any of Gina Azzi’s work and was captivated by Noah and Indy’s story from the very first chapter.

This title is a friends to lovers, opposites attract, surprise pregnancy, sports romance set in the world of the Boston Hawks hockey team.

Indy is an intelligent and studious college professor, who is focused, driven and passionate.   She was raised in the world of hockey as her father is a former professional player, and after previously dating a player she has no compunction to date one again.

Noah is a player for the Boston Hawks hockey team, and the captain of his team is Indy’s older cousin.  Noah is a charming, sweet, charismatic and sexy hockey player who has been burned in the past and is not looking for a committed relationship but when he’s around Indy the spark’s fly.

The Sweet Talker is a thoroughly enjoyable read with a cast of characters I look forward to seeing more of in future additions to the series.  It’s a sweet story with a touch of angst, and strong themes of family, friendship, and hockey.
