The fourth title
in the Wounded Sons series is a friends to lovers romance with equal parts
suspense, drama and romance, featuring Rafe and Peyton.
Both the
hero and heroine have survived grief and loss and have their fair share of
secrets in regard to their pasts. Both
are resilient survivors and Peyton brings out all of Rafe’s protective instincts. Despite the demons Peyton is struggling with
she is determined to take back control of her life and I admired her resilience
and strength.
This title ties up a few loose ends from earlier in the series but also left me eager for future installments in the series.
