Only One Night - Natasha Madison

ONLY ONE NIGHT

By Natasha Madison

Release Date: January 5

Manning
As captain of the Dallas Oilers, I was their leader on and off the ice. From the outside, it looked like I had the perfect life.

I didn’t.

I was married to a woman who refused to give me a divorce. All she wanted was the status title, and all I wanted was to be set free.

It was supposed to be just another event, except it took a turn I didn’t see coming.

Evelyn
Attending my best friend’s bachelorette party isn’t something I was looking forward to.
But it’s strange what a couple of glasses of wine will do.

It was one night, and I thought I would never see him again.

Especially not coming face-to-face with him and his wife while picking up my nephew from hockey practice.

All it takes is one kiss, one touch, one chance, and only one night.

Only One Night is the third title in the Only One series, and whilst it can be read as a standalone, the characters from the previous titles feature throughout the story line.

Manning and Evelyn’s story is an emotional, angsty romance with equal parts heat, heart and drama.

Manning is a kindhearted and good man who is beaten down due to his dysfunctional family life.  He’s a survivor living a life in a loveless marriage for the sake of his son.

Evelyn is a strong, confident, intelligent and witty heroine.  She’s never had a one-night stand until she meets a man in a bar who she feels and instant connection with.  Their banter is fun and flirtatious, the chemistry is undeniable fueled by heat and passion, but she leaves before he wakes the next day.

When fate intervenes and they unexpectedly reconnect it’s incredibly awkward.

I don’t honestly delve into books that involve cheating, but in this instance although the hero is married, he lives a separate life to his wife and she’s a complete witch.

Natasha Madison is still one of my favorite authors when it comes to hockey romance, and I highly recommend this title to anyone who enjoys a sports romance with plenty of drama.
