Far Beyond Repair is the third title in the Hearts and Horsepower series, a second chance romance featuring Ryker Holt and Scarlet Morgan.

In the previous title Ryker has been portrayed as the gruff, broody and grumpy mechanic and in this title we discover the reasons behind his moody disposition.  Ryker and Scarlet were childhood sweethearts who’s relationship ended when Ryker thought he was putting Scarlet’s needs before his own.  This pair of characters are flawed and their past and present is plagued by miscommunication, fear and guilt, doubts and blame but also love. 

I found their story to be enjoyable, but the ending felt quite rushed, I look forward to the next title in the Hearts and Horsepower series.
